Two teenage boys are in serious condition after being shot Thursday night in south Phoenix. According to a FOX 10 Phoenix report, the Phoenix Police found the teens near 79th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road, with the area quickly becoming a focal point for the investigation. A vehicle riddled with what appeared to be a bullet hole was also observed in close proximity to the scene.
The shooting incident reportedly occurred around 9 p.m. Phoenix Police Department officers were called to respond to quickly address the reports of multiple shootings. They encountered two distinct scenes—where the shooting unfolded and where the victims were discovered, just blocks apart. Despite the urgency, no suspect information has yet been disclosed as conveyed by 12News.
The boys were transported to nearby hospitals with injuries that were deemed serious. Officials have not released their identities nor any updates on their condition since the night of the incident.
