Southwest Gas will begin infrastructure upgrades at the intersection of Buckeye Road and 99th Avenue on Friday. The work will take place six days a week, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Road restrictions will be in effect 24/7 during the construction, as reported by the City of Tolleson.
According to the City of Tolleson, natural gas service will continue without interruption. Road restrictions will include a ban on left turns at the intersection of Buckeye Road and 99th Avenue for about two months. Left turns will still be allowed at 107th Avenue and 91st Avenue. Right turns at the intersection may also be temporarily restricted during the work.
Southwest Gas is working on infrastructure improvements, with W. Tonto Street as the main reroute for business access. The construction schedule may change due to weather and resources.
