In Vacaville, swift police action led to the recovery of a stolen bicycle belonging to a teenager and the thief's arrest. The Vacaville Police Department shared the event on their social media, detailing how the incident unfolded after a young teenage girl reported her bike stolen while she was inside a Starbucks Coffee.

Corporal Meek, who took the report, quickly dispatched a description of the distinctive bicycle to his team after being approached by the teenager. A detective posted back at the office with access to intersection cameras was there to quickly identify the suspect riding away with the stolen property. After spotting the thief, Detective Sullivan relayed the suspect's description and direction of travel to the officers on the ground, according to the Vacaville Police Department's Facebook post.

Within what must have been mere minutes, Vacaville officers located the stolen bike alongside the thief, Deavin Casto, a 23-year-old from Fairfield. The bike's distinctive blue, yellow, and pink colors, not commonly found on a color wheel, played a crucial role in the bike and its rider's rapid identification. "Blue, yellow, and pink isn’t a combination you’ll find on a color wheel, but today it brought a bicycle back to its owner and a suspect to Solano County Jail," the Vacaville Police Department's social media post noted.
