Weber County has forged a partnership with the Proposed Nordic Village PIDs Nos. 1, 2, and 3, greenlighting roadway enhancements covering around 512 acres near the Nordic Valley Ski Resort, as detailed in a recent notice now available for the public's scrutiny.
The collaborative deal contains every detail, from the construction requirements to the eventual handover for ongoing maintenance of the roadways, promising a smooth transition sans direct payment obligations from the Districts. However, once the enhancements receive the County’s nod of approval, it's the County that will roll up its sleeves for the upkeep and repairs henceforth, according to the announcement on Weber County's official site.
Marking a significant and perpetual commitment, the agreement kicks into gear from the moment the District Boards convene for their inaugural meeting with expectations set high for a boost to accessibility and infrastructure around the popular ski haven, this interlocal agreement gestures toward a future where county and districts align in the name of progress and upkeep of the precious roads that will serve the local and visiting snow enthusiasts alike.
For those eyeing the fine print or eager for more details, resolution 52-2024, alongside the full agreement, is open to inspection at the Weber County Clerk/Auditor's Office during normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., granted an explorative visit within a 30-day window post-publication, providing ample opportunity for residents to peruse the documents at 2380 Washington Blvd., Ste. 320, in Ogden.
