This immersive ride appears to combine meticulous set design with innovative ride technology to bring the trials of Dolores Umbridge to life. According to WESH, Universal Orlando Resort offered fans a glimpse inside what promises to be both a familiar and novel experience.
The attraction draws inspiration from Harry Potter lore while introducing a fresh storyline. Guests can explore authentic set pieces like Umbridge's pink office and the Métro-Floo Corridor, a nod to the Floo Network. Fans will enjoy discovering hidden details, from Time Room clocks to Ministry of Magic documents scattered throughout the queue.
As FOX 35 Orlando detailed, this latest addition to the park includes the Ministry of Magic Atrium, the restored Fountain of Magical Brethren statue, and a reception area bustling with pre-trial activity. Universal Orlando describes the ride as their "most impressive ride to date," featuring "massive incredibly detailed environments, powerful storytelling, unprecedented ride technology and so much more."
One standout feature mentioned is the Magical Ministry Lift, an omnidirectional vehicle promising to move up, down, forward, backward, and sideways to mimic the elevator rides in the film. The ride's capacity to take up to 14 visitors at once suggests that it will be equipped to handle a significant number of guests cycling through the attraction.
