A tragic collision occurred last night in Monroeville, resulting in the death of one woman and injuries to three others. As reported by WPXI, the incident, which has sparked an ongoing investigation by local authorities, happened near midnight on the 3700 block of William Penn Highway, involving a Nissan Pathfinder and a Toyota Rav 4.
The Allegheny County Police Department has provided details on the accident, confirming that two individuals were present in each car when the Pathfinder struck the rear of the Rav 4. All four victims were subsequently transported to area hospitals, wherein the passenger of the Pathfinder succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead. Thankfully, the other occupants are in stable condition and recovering from the harrowing event, per WTAE.
