Worcester's Vice Squad made a significant drug bust on Lincoln Street yesterday. According to Worcester Police Department, two individuals were arrested during a suspected fentanyl deal. Officers, who had been monitoring the area at Lincoln and Frederick Streets, observed what appeared to be a covert narcotics transaction.
Tasked with bringing tranquility to Worcester's streets, the Vice Squad's watchful gaze fell upon 32-year-old Samantha Olney of Chandler Street. Recovering what seemed to be a considerable batch of fentanyl from her possession post an apparent exchange, Olney was promptly arrested. As seen driving a black Honda during the suspected drug deal, a 25-year-old Josue Maria from Fraternal Avenue proceeded to feel the heavy hand of the law upon him.
The evidence unearthed led to stark accusations: Mr. Maria is charged with Trafficking in a Class 18 Substance (18-36 Grams, fentanyl) and Distribution of a Class A Substance (fentanyl), a turn in life that will no doubt leave deep impressions. Ms. Olney, her future similarly upturned, stands accused of Trafficking in a Class A Substance (18-36 Grams, fentanyl), the Worcester Police Department articulated in their report.
