
A 14-year-old male has been charged with one felony count of robbery armed with a firearm and one misdemeanor count of aggravated assault with the use of a deadly weapon, as reported by the Chicago Police Department. The juvenile was apprehended on Monday in the vicinity of the 4200 block of S. St. Lawrence Ave.
Authorities stated that the young offender was one of the culprits involved in a September 20, 2024, armed robbery. The incident took place at a retail store located in the 1000 block of E. 93rd St., where merchandise was reportedly taken at gunpoint from an employee. The Chicago Police Department has released a statement detailing the charges and the arrest.
