
Early Thursday morning, a 20-year-old man became the victim of a shooting incident in the Holly Hills neighborhood. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred just after 3:00 a.m. in the 5500 block of S 37th Street.
The young man, having been wounded by a gunshot to the leg, sought help at the South Patrol Division. He recounted to officers that after honking at a black sedan obstructing the road, the situation escalated quickly. The sedan's driver confronted him upon getting out of his vehicle; after discharging one round into the air, the assailant shot the victim in the leg.
