A man was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in the Carr Square neighborhood shortly before 7:30 p.m. last night in the 1200 block of Biddle Street. The victim, a 22-year-old man, was smoking when he was approached by a suspect who asked to join him. After the victim refused, the assailant brandished a firearm and forcefully took the man’s belongings. The victim complied, and the suspect fled the scene on foot, according to the St. Louis Police Department.
Police from District 4 have taken up the case and are actively conducting inquiries into the robbery. While details are sparse, the search for the suspect is ongoing. Authorities have yet to release a description of the suspect or any further information pertaining to the case.
