
A three-year-old boy is now receiving medical care for life-threatening injuries after an incident involving a backyard pool in Queen Creek, as reported by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO). According to officials, the emergency services were summoned near Riggs and Sossaman roads at approximately noon to respond to what was feared to be a drowning situation involving a child, as reported by 12 News.
Authorities found that a family member had already rescued the young child from the water. The exact time the child was submerged remains unclear, leaving questions about the extent of his injuries.
FOX 10 Phoenix reported that the child was quickly taken to a hospital for urgent care.
