Fans of rock ballads and iconic guitar solos, rejoice. Toto, Christopher Cross, and Men at Work are teaming up for a North American tour in 2025, promising a nostalgic throwback to yacht rock and timeless beats.
The Phoenix New Times has marked August 21 as the day Arizona Financial Theatre will come alive with '80s anthems. "I am thrilled about this tour," Toto singer Steve Lukather shared in the announcement. "Christopher and Colin have been close friends of mine for a long time. This is a tour that musically works, and brings a fresh new summer tour package to the circuit. I could not be more thrilled an idea that germinated months ago was able to take flight and become a reality,” he told Phoenix New Times.
The formal itinerary, which kicks off on July 18 at West Palm Beach's iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre and winds down—after over a month of hits and humidity—on August 30th at the RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater, was released in tandem by both Toto's official webpage and the Phoenix New Times. According to Cross, who presumably will not be sailing but rather bussing from city to city, "I’m honored to be sharing the stage during the summer of 2025 with my dear friends Toto and Men At Work" as stated by Toto's website.
Toto isn't just living in the past. With "Africa" earning Diamond certification and billions of streams, their music remains timeless. Adding Men at Work, who regularly reinvent themselves, and Christopher Cross, a five-time Grammy winner, proves this tour is more than just nostalgia.
Tickets for the tour went on sale December 13, with an early presale for Citi card members, as per Toto's website. Additional performances are expected to be announced, according to Toto. Get ready to sing along to "Africa" and enjoy an evening of musical escapism.
