A water main break in Aiea caused significant disruptions Sunday afternoon, resulting in traffic delays and the temporary loss of water service for dozens of homes. The 8-inch main burst rippled its impact along Kamehameha Highway near Kihale Street, adjacent to Boston's Pizza, according to reports from KHON2. The Board of Water Supply stated that service was restored by Monday morning as crews worked through the night to repair the damage.
