In the early hours of the morning of Sunday, a motorcycle accident rattled the otherwise quiet streets of Belle Prairie River Township, north of Little Falls, MN. The Morrison County Sheriff's Office, responding to the call at approximately 1:12 a.m., found 28-year-old Christian Ramiro at the scene. According to a statement from the Sheriff's Office, Ramiro was traveling east on 213th Street when he lost control and landed in a ditch. Earlier in the night, reported stolen from St. Cloud, Ramiro had been involved in a pursuit with the Rice Police Department with the motorcycle.
Transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance, injuries sustained by Christian Ramiro were minor, and after treatment, he was released. Turned over to the Rice Police Department following his release from the hospital, Ramiro was then transported to Stearns County Jail.
Details on the origin of the pursuit or how it transpired have not been released. The motorcycle's thievery from St. Cloud now underscores the chase that preceded Ramiro’s crash, though it is unclear at this time how the events are directly connected.
