A tragic incident on Tuesday night in Rolling Meadows left a bicyclist dead following a collision with a vehicle, ABC7 Chicago reports. The Rolling Meadows Police Department responded around 9:27 p.m. to the crash at the intersection of Rohlwing Road and Campbell Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bicyclist with serious injuries, lying conscious on the ground.
Despite being rushed to a local hospital, the individual, a man whose identity has yet to be released, was later pronounced dead. The driver of the car, who had returned to the scene after a short departure, is said to be cooperating with the authorities, as per CBS News Chicago.
