In a scene that disrupted the evening balm of Delray Beach, a Boca Raton woman found herself on the wrong side of the law this past weekend. According to a police report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Francesca Cialone, 29, was charged with disorderly intoxication after an incident at the Tin Roof bar.
Officers were alerted to Cialone's condition by three concerned women, who, her cell phone battery die, helped her call for an Uber to get home safely. When the police arrived at the scene, they found Cialone walking in the street. Despite their efforts to keep her out of harm's way, she returned with profane language towards the women who had assisted her, and subsequently, towards the officers themselves.
The situation escalated quickly. "Cialone was being belligerent and yelling which caused other patrons to stop what they were doing and look at Cialone," BocaNewsNow.com detailed. Officers Cushnie and Jones attempted to de-escalate the confrontation several times, but Cialone's actions, including thrusting a finger in their faces and verbally aggressive behavior, led to her arrest. She was later booked into the Palm Beach County Jail around 3 a.m. on Sunday.
Information shared on Recently Booked indicated that Cialone was booked for "disorderly intox - disorder intox public place cause disturbance" without implying or inferring guilt beyond the arrest. After several hours of confinement and a $250 bond, Cialone was released with a court date pending to further address the disorderly conduct charge.
