Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top 50 donut shops around the country, using Yelp data collected in early May and our own special sauce to produce a data-driven breakdown of where donuts reign supreme in the US—and how Miami stacks up.

As it turns out, Miami has one of the country's best donut emporiums with The Salty Donut. With an impressive 4.5- star average with 626 reviews, it made our list at #41.

What makes The Salty Donut special? Its year-round menu staples, like Nutella, Baked Cookies & Cream, and Guava & Cheese, along with its creative weekly flavors, like Key Lime Pie and White Chocolate Tres Leches, both probably contribute to its popularity.

Although only one Miami donut shop made our list, the Sunshine State is well represented. Mojo Donuts, in Pembroke Pines, landed at #23 on our list, and Minneola’s Donut King and Ormond Beach’s Donnie’s Donuts came in at #30 and #31, respectively.
