
Officers from District D-14 joined the community at the West End House Boys and Girls Club for the Boston Lodge of Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Competition. They cheered on the young contestants and tried their own free throws, with the Boston Police Department joking, "Let’s just say we’ll stick to community policing!"
The event gave young people a chance to shine and allowed law enforcement to connect with the community in a fun, basketball-filled setting. The cheers and stomps in the gym created an atmosphere of unity and support, as reported by the Boston Police Department.
The Boston Police Department recognized everyone involved in the Boston Lodge of Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Competition. From the event organizers to the young participants, the department acknowledged their effort and skill. "A huge shout out to the organizers and to all the participants who brought their A-game. You’re all MVPs in our book!" said the officers.
