The Bremen community has come together to support Carson Kimble, the quarterback for Bremen High School, following a serious spinal injury. Kimble was injured during a game on August 30, suffering a blow to his spinal cord that led to paralysis below the waist, according to Atlanta News First. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he underwent surgery to replace a damaged vertebra with a titanium one.

In response, Big Peach Car Wash organized a fundraising event, donating $5 for every car wash to support Kimble's medical expenses. The event saw over 500 vehicles, raising more than $5,000. As reported by FOX 5 Atlanta, the total raised for Kimble's recovery has reached $68,000.

The overwhelmed quarterback expressed his appreciation for the support he's received. "Since then, I’ve just had unbelievable support," Kimble told Atlanta News First. Wesley Cone, co-owner of Big Peach Car Wash, stated, "As soon as we heard the story about Carson, we knew we needed to jump aboard and help out where we could"

As outlined in an Atlanta News First report, during the event, Kimble received a signed football from NFL player Travon Walker and tickets to the Peach Bowl. Kimble said, "Really helps me keep on going and show everyone that there might be hard things that come in life, but there’s a lot to be grateful for." Customers at the 10 Big Peach Car Wash locations can still contribute on Sunday to support Kimble’s recovery.
