The Broward Sheriff's Office is currently reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying an individual involved in a violent stabbing incident. According to WSVN, the attack took place on Tuesday last week in the drive-thru lane of a Bank of America ATM in Tamarac. "When deputies arrived on scene, they made contact with an individual who stated that he witnessed an unknown subject stabbing the driver of a black Dodge Charger," BSO Public Information Officer Gerdy St. Louis said.

Surveillance footage from the scene provided by authorities shows a person, described as having an athletic build, standing approximately 6 feet tall with short black hair and a beard. This person, believed to be between his late 20s and early 30s, was dressed in a blue T-shirt, blue jeans, and was spotted wearing green sneakers at the time of the altercation. The suspect, described as male, was seen with blood on his jeans before fleeing the area on foot.

The pursuit of the suspect led investigators to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport where they discovered the aforementioned Dodge Charger. According to Tamarac Talk, the vehicle turned out to be a rental that had been stained with blood and then returned to the rental company. Despite these findings, the driver responsible for the return of the rental car has not yet been located by authorities.

Detective Lisa Almanza-Londono of BSO's Violent Crimes Unit is urging the public to provide any information about the attacker’s identity, location, or details about the crime. Those with information can contact her at 954-321-4185 or submit tips anonymously through Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or the SaferWatch App.
