Residents and commuters in Casa Grande are advised to prepare for detours as Hacienda Road enters a phase of reconstruction designed to enhance roadway quality and safety. According to the City of Casa Grande, the work on Hacienda Road will occur between Florence Boulevard and Kleck Road and is divided into two parts, the first running from Cottonwood Lane to Kleck Road from December 9 to December 24 and the second from Cottonwood Lane to Florence Boulevard scheduled for December 26 to January 10.

During this period, Hacienda Road will be closed to through traffic, however, local traffic, meaning residents and businesses will keep their access, commuters are expected to experience delays and should seek alternate routes. The scope of this project includes removing the old asphalt, reworking the foundational layer, laying down the new pavement, and applying fresh road striping, all operations take place from 6 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, as detailed by the City of Casa Grande.

For those living along the affected road, the city's work schedule necessitates placing trash containers out before 6:00 a.m. on their designated collection days to avoid service disruptions.
