"Our small-scale, local model reduces risks and costs associated with transporting liquefied chlorine gas across the country, aligning with increased customer preferences for localized production," Daniel Croce, CEO of Chlorum Solutions USA, was quoted saying in a statement made by Casa Grande’s official announcement. Not only is the company aiming to eliminate the need to transport chlorine gas over long distances, but they are also keen to directly cater to customers in Arizona, substituting the imports from other states.
This decentralized approach is anticipated to offer stability, especially in sectors such as water treatment that are inherently reliant on the steady flow of these chemicals.
