Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke is hosting the annual Chandler Mayor HOA Roundtable, organized by the city’s Neighborhood Preservation Division. The event will provide residents an opportunity to gain insights and ask questions about HOA governance. This free event will be held from 4–5:30 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2025, at the ASU Chandler Innovation Center, located at 249 E. Chicago St.
Homeowner associations are often a key topic of discussion among residents, and the featured speaker, Beth Mulcahy, Esq. of the Mulcahy Law Firm, P.C., will address important issues such as violations of open meeting laws and improper voting procedures. Her presentation will provide valuable insights into the legal challenges that frequently affect HOA boards.
After the presentation, there will be a Q&A session, allowing residents to engage directly with the issues and ask questions related to their own associations' challenges. A light dinner will be provided at no cost, though RSVPs are required in advance. Residents looking to attend can register online through the Chandler HOA Roundtable.
For any additional questions or details, residents can contact the Neighborhood Programs staff at 480-782-4348 for more information about the event. For those residing in a homeowners association, this roundtable provides an opportunity to gain insights from a legal expert and engage in discussions about community governance.
