Officials say the incident, which involved the unidentified male, some Strategic Security employees, and other individuals, happened shortly before 4:00 p.m., according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Detectives from the CMPD Homicide Unit are spearheading an active death investigation stemming from the event. The victim, discovered unconscious by first responders, was transported to a nearby hospital and subsequently pronounced dead.
