The City of San Luis has tapped Juan Leal Rubio for the role of Assistant Director of Development Services, a move that positions him at the core of the city’s burgeoning infrastructure and regulatory landscape. With a comprehensive selection process behind them, city officials identified Leal Rubio as the standout candidate, primed to steer the Development Services Department through a period of significant growth, as per the City of San Luis.
In his new position, Leal Rubio will be at the epicenter, responsible for a wide breadth of operations including building safety and inspection, urban planning, and community development, among others. As the go-to authority on building, planning, and zoning within the city, his purview includes fostering coordination between multiple city departments and entities in both the public and private sectors, according to the City of San Luis announcement.
"Mr. Leal Rubio's extensive experience in local government, combined with his leadership skills and forward-thinking vision, align perfectly with the rapid growth of San Luis," Jose A. Guzman, Director of Development Services, conveyed in a statement.
