
The search for 21-year-old Gabriel Laradelara came to a somber end as the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office reported the finding of a body in unincorporated Gilroy. The discovery was shared through the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, though the office has yet to confirm the identity of the deceased.
UPDATE: A body has been found in unincorporated Gilroy near where missing person Gabriel Laradelara was last seen. Sheriff’s detectives are investigating what led to this death. The Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office is working to positively identify the person.

The investigation into Laradelara's disappearance, which ignited concern across the Gilroy community, began following his absence. Driving a 2003 black Infinity FX45, he was last spotted on Monterey Road at Rucker Avenue, according to a report from Hoodline. The vehicle was later found abandoned.
Standing at 5’ 7” and weighing around 140 pounds, the details of Laradelara's last known appearance circulated through the community as law enforcement appealed to the public for information.
The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office had previously urged anyone with information about the disappearance to come forward and call 408-808-4500 in their outreach. The Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office undertakes the duty to identify the body positively.
