Authorities report that a 32-year-old man was making a delivery to a residence in the 5500 block of Minerva when he was approached by an armed individual, according to SLMPD.
The delivery man, whose identity has been withheld, was ordered by an armed suspect to empty his pockets upon arrival at the destination. The address, which turned out to be a vacant home, was part of an apparent set-up. The victim complied with the assailant's demands, after which the suspect fled the scene. Police responded to the call and confirmed the location was indeed vacant, as first reported by SLMPD.
