Around 12:50 a.m., the stillness of the South Side was pierced by gunshots within a home located in the 9400 block of South LaSalle Street. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a female witness inside the residence reported hearing the shots and then discovered the victims in a living room, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The harrowing scene unfolded as emergency responders were summoned, and both men were transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
