The Pemberton in downtown Phoenix is set to reopen after its closure earlier this year. True North Studio, the owner of the venue, plans to revitalize the space near the Roosevelt Row Arts District. Jonathon Vento, principal at True North Studio, stated, "We felt it was important to preserve and offer [the Pemberton] to the Valley for years to come," in an abc15 report.

The rehabilitation of The Pemberton aims to blend the original charm with new features, including vintage trailers repurposed as kitchen and bar spaces and murals from local artists. The venue will showcase multicultural themes such as an Icelandic campground, Italian beach club, Tokyo alley, and Dia de los Muertos zones. Jonathon Vento, in a statement to DTPHX, described the project as an "exploration of shapes, colors, and tastes."

The redesign of The Pemberton focuses on practicality. Patrons can now choose a zone and stay there throughout their dining experience, with improved service and ambiance. True North Studio aims to enhance the venue's appeal while streamlining operations for a smoother patron experience.

Phase 2 of The Pemberton's development will add indoor dining within the historically preserved Pemberton house. This phase will offer a 1920s Art Deco experience. The venue is set to reopen in late December, aiming to remain a unique destination in Arizona. Jonathon Vento told DTPHX, "I want Pemberton 2.0 to feel like escapism. A place where you can set your troubles aside and be inspired."
