The City of El Mirage is making sure that while most of us will be taking a break for the holidays, waste management services will continue to operate, albeit with a few schedule tweaks. In a recent announcement detailed by their official portal, residents are advised to take note of altered trash collection dates across various sections of the city due to the holiday closures.
The city's Customer Service will be pausing from December 25, through January 1, 2025, but El Mirage is committed to still accommodate urgent needs. In a move to not entirely disrupt the services, on-call staff will remain available for urgent inquiries, as per the City of El Mirage. Furthermore, the city is encouraging residents to use online channels for utility service applications, bill payments, and requests for extensions and payment plans.
This digital approach aims to ease the inconvenience caused by the physical closure. According to the announcement on the city's website, "residents may still make urgent inquiries to on-call staff, submit utility service applications online, make utility bill payments online, and submit extension and payment plan requests via email." This ensures the continuity of some essential services through alternative means.
