The Escondido Police Department confirmed that Abraham Hernandez, the senior citizen reported missing yesterday, has been found and is now safely back with his family. The update was provided via a social media post, following an earlier appeal to the public to help locate Mr. Hernandez after he vanished around the 1200 block of North Broadway last Friday.
Before his disappearance, Hernandez, described as a 5-foot tall, 135-pound Hispanic male adult, was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and dark-colored cargo pants. The initial call for help was marked with urgency, particularly because of Mr. Hernandez's senile condition, potentially putting him at significant risk.
"If you find or know the whereabouts of Mr. Hernandez please call the Escondido Police Department at 760-839-4722 or call 911," read the plea from the Escondido Police, as described in a post by Hoodline.
