Nick Fuentes, the far-right influencer known for his incendiary commentary, has found himself on the wrong side of the law. Fuentes is now facing a misdemeanor battery charge after Marla Rose, a 57-year-old writer and co-founder of a vegan lifestyle website, accused him of an assault outside his Berwyn, Illinois home in November. The alleged confrontation occurred following Fuentes's controversial social media post after the presidential election, as reported by the Chicago Sun-Times.

According to documents filed with the Cook County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, Fuentes was arrested on Nov. 27, and Rose's criminal complaint alleges that Fuentes "knowingly made physical contact of an insulting nature" with her. Rose stated that she approached his residence, which had its address leaked online, intending to confront him over the post that declared, "Your body, my choice. Forever," in a context related to abortion rights. As she was about to ring the doorbell, Fuentes allegedly opened the door and sprayed her with a substance believed to be pepper spray, an incident she captured on her phone, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The encounter took an even more violent turn, as reported by NBC News, with Rose telling police Fuentes pushed her onto the concrete and broke her phone. She filed a police report the following day, which noted her eyes were “watery” though she did not have any visible physical injuries. Fuentes, a Lyons Township High School graduate with controversial views, had his first court appearance scheduled for Dec. 19, as per NBC News.
