
Early Friday morning, Fayetteville's Gingercake Landing neighborhood was jolted awake by a blaze that consumed a residence on Gingerbread Place, leading to the medical transport of two individuals who sustained burn injuries. Officials say they were promptly taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and remain in stable condition, according to the City of Fayetteville's official report.
At 9:06 AM, the city's emergency services were dispatched, and firefighters arrived by 9:10 AM to face the towering smoke and flames. Acting swiftly, they not only battled the blaze but also conducted a thorough search to ensure no one else was trapped inside the burning structure, according to a municipal statement.
