Fayetteville City Hall is embracing the holiday spirit with a festive competition in its lobby. City employees from various departments have decorated eight tabletop Christmas trees, each representing their department. The public is invited to judge and pick the best display, with no city funds used for the decorations.
Fayetteville residents can visit City Hall through Thursday, December 12, to admire the decorated Christmas trees and vote for their favorite. Residents can only vote once. The winning department will earn a year's worth of bragging rights, as the City of Fayetteville announced. To keep things fair, the trees were decorated without using city funds.
Residents can cast their ballots either in person or online, and are encouraged to share the voting opportunity far and wide among friends and family whether through word of mouth, as noted on the city's official website. The winners of the holiday tree competition will be announced on Friday, December 13. For more details, you can visit the official page.
