Rancho Cordova is hosting various activities this holiday season, including the Winter Art Fest at the MACC. The event, which started last Friday, runs over two weekends and offers a chance to shop for unique gifts while supporting local artists, according to the City of Rancho Cordova.
"The event takes place on Sunday, December 1 from 4 PM to 7:30 PM at Village Green Park, 3141 Bridgeway Drive." The Christmas Tree Lighting event featured snow, carolers, train rides, and a fireworks display. Admission was free. Additionally, the Cordova Recreation & Park District hosted a Breakfast with Santa & Mrs. Claus on Saturday, including a holiday craft fair and a photo opportunity for kids. The Rancho Cordova River City Concert Band will perform Holiday Harmonies at several locations. "Another performance will take place on Saturday, December 14 from 3 PM to 5 PM at Koreana Plaza, 10971 Olson Drive." The Symphony d’Oro will also have a free Holiday Magic Concert on December 14 at 3:30 PM. The PAL Holiday Run, benefiting the Rancho Cordova Police Activities League, will be on December 14. Free photos with Santa are available at KP International Market through December 25. The City of Rancho Cordova is collecting donations for the Christmas in Cordova toy drive until December 14.
