San Antonio residents can expect a rather foggy start this week, as humidity clings heavily in the air. According to the National Weather Service, the visibility will be reduced to about 5 miles today, with a dense blanket enveloping the city and fog/mist currently making it seem more like London than Texas.

Temperatures are sitting at a cool 50°F with a slight west southwest wind causing a bit of a wind chill effect, dropping temperatures marginally to 48°F. But don't let the foggy morning dissuade you, as later today clouds will give way to a sunny high near 60 degrees. "Patchy fog between 4am and 5am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy," as per the National Weather Service forecast, with the situation clearing up by midday.

Looking ahead to Monday, the fog is set to return in the morning hours between 7am and 9am before the sun breaks through. It's not all gray skies, however; the sun will shine down generously, bringing temperatures up to a toasty 81 degrees by the afternoon. As nighttime falls, the temperature will dip back down, hitting a low around 47 while winds shift to come from the north, potentially gusting up to 20 mph.

The rest of the week looks much clearer and cooler, with sunny days and clear nights dominating the forecast. Tuesday's forecast predicts a sunny day with some moderate north wind gusting as high as 30 mph, followed by a clear night with lows plummeting to around 35. Consistent with San Antonio's usual winter weather, the week continues with balmy days and crisp evenings, including a high near 70 on Friday and only a 20 percent chance of showers on Saturday.
