Gilroy police are asking the community to help identify a man accused of theft from a local Goodwill store. According to a post on the Gilroy Police Department's Instagram account, the theft occurred on First Street, where a woman was shopping and had her keys and cell phone stolen.
Though the cell phone was found, the keys remain missing, leaving the authorities actively searching for the suspect. The social media plea shows a picture of the man believed to be involved in the incident. "Do you recognize this man?" the Gilroy Police Department posted.
The department urges anyone with information to step forward and reach out directly to Cpl. Larkin at [email protected] to possibly help swiftly conclude the investigation.
