Units from across Clackamas County and neighboring jurisdictions were on-site, as confirmed by a KOIN crew who witnessed the gathering, which included Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon City Police, Molalla Police, Gresham Police, Milwaukie Police, and Clackamas Fire.

While the reason behind this assembly was not initially clear, officials have now assured the public that there is no immediate threat to safety and confirmed no reported injuries. Camp Withycombe, known primarily as a military post and training ground housing several Oregon Army National Guard units and the Oregon Military Museum, was to adapt and respond to this unforeseen event quickly.
