
Members of the Holyoke Police Department, in coordination with the DEA, conducted a significant operation in Holyoke, Massachusetts, initiating a search and subsequent arrests at a Lyman St. residence. According to the official social media post from the police department, the raid took place yesterday and was the culminating action following thorough investigative work.
The operation resulted in the arrest of two men, Luis Cepeda Fuentes and David Carvalho, both aged 34. Law enforcement authorities have charged Fuentes with an array of offenses, including possession and intent to distribute Class A and B substances, as well as several firearms-related charges. Carvalho's charges are primarily drug-related, covering possession and intent to distribute.
It's also noteworthy that the Holyoke Police Department extended special thanks to Sgt. Beaulieu and K9 Gino of the Easthampton Police for their role in the operation. The collaboration between local law enforcement agencies shows the importance of teamwork in tackling drug networks, which often cross municipal borders.
