The New Orleans Police Department has made a decisive move in a grim Warehouse District case. Yesterday, NOPD, alongside members of the U.S. Marshals, apprehended 25-year-old Jeremiah Williams in connection with a shooting that claimed the life of Frederick Magee last month. This tragic event unfolded on Nov. 3, as reported by WDSU, taking place in the 700 block of Tchoupitoulas Street.
Tragedy struck when Williams allegedly approached and fatally wounded Magee, who was just 24 years old, outside of a business. Following a series of rigorous investigatory steps, NOPD was able to issue an arrest warrant on a count of second-degree murder, as detailed by WGNO. Williams was subsequently arrested in a residence in Jefferson Parish and is now awaiting legal proceedings.
