A mobile home in Las Cruces suffered significant damage from a blaze that took place on Sunday afternoon, leading to the loss of a pet cat. The fire was reported after 2 p.m. on December 1, in the 3600 block of Spitz Street, as reported by the City of Las Cruces.
Upon arrival, Las Cruces firefighters were met with a scene of flames and thick smoke pouring forth from the structure. The teams quickly set to work to effectively control and eventually subdue the fire within a mere 15 minutes of their arrival. It's important to note, that they managed to safely enter the home and ensure that there were no civilian injuries or firefighters harmed during the response.
