Lithonia to Sparkle with DeKalb County's First Annual Lantern Festival and Parade at E.M.B.A.R.C. Community Youth Farm

DeKalb County is kicking off its first-ever Annual Lantern Festival and Parade on Saturday, December 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will take place at the E.M.B.A.R.C. Community Youth Farm in Lithonia. Families are invited to enjoy a vibrant display of lanterns and holiday cheer as part of this festive community celebration.

Attendees can expect a range of activities suited for all ages, including music, a s'mores station, and campfire cooking. Garden tours will showcase the farm's winter greenery while tasty beverages offer a respite from the chilly evening. As the sun sets, a Lantern Parade will weave through the park, participants carrying lanterns to illuminate the path, crafting a spectacle of light against the night sky, according to DeKalb County's announcement.
