The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported that on Saturday, they responded to a call at approximately 5:45 pm in the 5400 block of Ridge.
According to the initial investigation, the 21-year-old man, intended to meet someone he had been messaging on an online dating platform, when an unidentified individual brandishing a handgun confronted him, commanding him to surrender his car keys and the contents of his pockets, then sped away with his belongings and vehicle.
