The Phoenix Police Department responded to calls near the vicinity of Eighth Street and Montecito Avenue, at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Friday, an area that lies merely a stone's throw away from the bustle of Seventh Street and Indian School Road, as detailed by 12News. This puts the incident close to the green expanse of Steele Indian School Park.
The victim was discovered with gunshot wounds and, despite rapid transport to a nearby hospital, succumbed to his injuries, as per 12News.
