
A fatal hit-and-run crash in Phoenix has claimed the life of a man identified as 35-year-old Ethan Jaaziel Felix. The incident took place near the intersection of 16th Street and Thomas Road around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered Felix with serious injuries. He was swiftly transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. According to the 12News coverage, the suspect vehicle had intentionally struck the victim before fleeing the area. As of yet, no details about the suspect have been released to the public.
Phoenix Police Department's Sgt. Rob Scherer provided a statement to the media. "The initial investigation revealed that the victim was intentionally struck with a vehicle driven by an unknown suspect. The suspect took off from the area after a short period of time," he said, as stated by FOX 10 Phoenix. Community members with knowledge pertinent to the case are encouraged to come forward.
