MEDnRX, a telemedicine company based in El Dorado Hills, has introduced its first physical telepharmacy kiosk at SF Market in Rancho Cordova, located at 2738 Sunrise Blvd. The kiosk provides virtual medical consultations and on-site pharmacy services, aiming to improve healthcare access in the area.
The new telepharmacy kiosk aims to make healthcare more accessible and affordable, especially for those without insurance or in underserved areas. It allows patients to consult with a medical provider on-site, through an app, or have medications delivered to their home. "With the help of technology, our goal is to make healthcare more accessible and more affordable," said Vaibhav Shah, co-founder of MEDnRX. The kiosk helps address the issue of pharmacy deserts, where people have to travel far for medications, and also offers job opportunities in telemedicine and pharmacy management, according to ABC10 and Greater Sacramento.
A new MEDnRX telemedicine kiosk is opening at SF Market in Sacramento to improve healthcare access in underserved communities. Cathy Rodriguez Aguirre, President & CEO of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, said, "This innovative telemedicine kiosk at SF Market exemplifies the kind of accessible healthcare solutions that can make a real difference in our underserved communities." The kiosk connects patients with healthcare providers and supports MEDnRX's mission to provide "the right medication at the right time for the right patient at the right price." The grand opening will take place on Thursday, at 10 a.m, as stated by Greater Sacramento.
