Residents can anticipate a gloomy Thursday with a persistent cloud cover and a 20 percent probability of showers before 10 a.m., following this the mercury is set to rise to a near 57°F, the southeast winds are light averaging 5 to 10 mph, but then as Thursday night falls, the conditions intensify bringing showers and possibly a thunderstorm, heavy rainfall is possible some storms could produce with new rainfall amounts projected between 1 and 2 inches, wind speeds are expected to pick up as well, gusting as high as 30 mph, according to the NWS.
Looking ahead to Friday, there's a 30 percent chance of showers before noon, but the day will likely clear up a bit, reaching highs close to 63°F; however, the forecast indicates more rainfall might be in store for the evening, setting the tone for a damp weekend. Saturday is slated for a 40 percent chance of precipitation, with showers and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon, and a slightly higher temperature of around 65°F.
Despite the unsettled weather later in the week, Sunday is expected to bring mostly sunny skies with a high near 61°F, followed by a mostly clear evening. Monday will see sunshine and highs in the mid-60s, but as night falls, another round of showers may arrive.
