
The National Weather Service in Memphis has released a forecast for the upcoming days, predicting a mix of cloudy skies, rain, and possible thunderstorms, with some sunshine expected later.
According to the National Weather Service, Friday will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers before 8 am and a high near 61 degrees.
Saturday will bring a 70 percent chance of rain, with thunderstorms possible after 3 pm. New rainfall amounts could range from half to three-quarters of an inch. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue through the night before tapering off, with lows around 51 degrees. Sunday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 61 degrees. The night will be partly cloudy with a low near 44 degrees.
Monday will be mostly sunny with highs near 65 degrees, and a 20 percent chance of showers later in the evening. From Tuesday to Thursday, sunny skies are expected, with cooler temperatures. Tuesday’s high will be near 55, New Year's Day will reach 47, and Thursday will see a high of 45. Wednesday night could drop to around 30 degrees.
