A Memphis barbecue joint fell prey to a group of burglars, as the Memphis Police Department seeks information on five men responsible for a burglary at the Three Little Pigs Bar-B-Q. This incident, occurring on December 22, involved the suspects smashing their way into the restaurant, as reported by Action News 5.
According to the FOX13 Memphis report, one of the five men used a hammer to break through the front door around 5 a.m. The other four intruders entered the premises, their actions caught on camera, as they broke a cash register and removed its drawer. The fifth man acted as a lookout during what appears to be a meticulously planned theft, where the culprits, later took off on foot.
Action News 5's coverage of the crime highlights the ransacking of the barbecue establishment, indicating that after breaking the glass door and stealing the cash register drawer the group continued to search the business before abandoning the scene.
The Memphis Police Department's Facebook page provides additional details, noting that "One of the males broke the glass door of the business with a hammer." After the initial entry and theft, the lookout joined another individual inside the business, presumably to aid in searching for more valuables. All suspects eventually fled eastward on foot from the restaurant, which is located at 5145 Quince Road.
As the Memphis Police Department continues its investigation, no arrests have been announced. The department has appealed to the public for assistance, offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.
