Miami residents woke up to a brisk Monday morning, with temperatures registering at a cool 57°F. Despite not hitting the lowest temperatures of the season for Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Key West managed to match its seasonal low at a chilly 64 degrees, according to reports from the National Weather Service.
Temperatures in the mid to upper 50s across Miami-Dade and Broward counties are making for an unusually cool start to the day. Confirming the temperature drop, the National Weather Service forecast details how today's high will hover in the mid-70s, defying the usual low of 66 and high around 80 that's typical for early December.
No rain is expected for the coming week, maintaining clear skies throughout. As per NBC Miami's report, highs may stay below average throughout the week, with the coolest mornings predicted to last until Wednesday. Monday in particular is set to remain sunny, yet breezy, with advisories for small crafts in effect and high temperatures staying at about 75°.
Tuesday and Wednesday look to follow suit with similar conditions, as both day's temperatures are expected to stay snug in the low 70s for highs and drop to a low between 50-55° in the evenings.
